Frazer-Nash Senior Consultants Karl King and Mike Morua will deliver a joint Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE)/International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) symposium on identifying requirements for digital signalling upgrades on 11 April.
The event, titled ‘Digital Signalling Upgrade Symposium: Beating the challenge’ will take place at manufacturers’ organisation Make UK’s* Broadway House venue in London, and will be opened with an address by IRSE President, Dr Markus Montigel.
Describing the event, Karl said: “We’ll be leading a structured workshop that will enable participants to identify the fundamental needs and requirements of a digital signalling upgrade project. Whether you’re a project manager or sponsor, designer, operator, or engineering manager, it will help you to capture and develop requirements for complex systems.”
Mike added: “The workshop will demonstrate a robust and concise process that will allow participants to extract large volumes of information about system requirements, in an organised and recorded way. You’ll gain a clear picture of what good practice in this area is, and be able to take this away to identify and remedy gaps in your current processes.”
Places are limited to 50. For further details click here to visit the IRSE website.
