Our collaboration with Raytheon has focused on providing the safety assurance aspects of the design, ensuring it met the highest standards, to support the successful firing of the laser system at full power demonstrating Frazer-Nash's ability to combine expertise from various domains to develop innovative solutions to new technologies, meeting regulatory requirements and ensuring safe operation.
We were able to tailor our approach to meet legislative requirements and developed safety critical strategies to demonstrate capabilities within a framework of strict regulations, against a programme moving at pace.
Drawing on our extensive expertise on high-energy systems and our experience with Land Systems, Frazer-Nash developed a comprehensive assurance framework, to ensure potential threats and hazards were identified and mitigated effectively.
